Hi all.
I'm riding a 1994 GPX 250.
It's just started being a touch weird a couple of days ago.
Sometimes when I switch up a gear and accelerate the revs go up but there is no increase in speed. Just yesterday this started to happen when I was going along without a change up in gear. i.e. I was riding along when suddenly the revs started to go up with no increse in speed - in fact I decelerated slightly as there was no power coming from the engine.
In both cases if I roll off the throttle and slowly reapply it it acts fine.
Is this a slipping clutch or something else? I'm not too hot on this kind of thing so any ideas greatly recieved.

Cheers

John

Sounds like it. Check the adjustment in the cable before you go to change it.

Mick: A useful reply, but capitalising every word is irritating.
