hey there, i have a small question about insurance. My friend is buying an rs, but he hasn't passed his cbt yet. its been booked this for this sunday. he wants to ride his bike right after his cbt (he's new in the uk, hes ridden 600cc's etc.). the question is : gocompare.com only ask for the month the cbt was passed, would it be inappropriate if he got insurance saturday, knowing its the 1st, doing cbt sunday and getting the bike sunday?
thanks

as long as he passes and sticks by the law he should be fine as he is not lying about the month he passed imo.

others may not think so but thats what i would do.

First of all, GoCompare.com isn't an insurer.
They just find the cheapest insurer over a mainstream of insurance companies. Get him a bike magazine and call a few places asking what they can offer etc. You'll probably find a cheaper on that GoCompare suggests.

Secondly, wait until he's got his CBT before you start lying, mate. Just a tip.

Thirdly, how's he planning to get his bike to the trainning school?

i know it isn't, but it takes the details FOR the insurer.
