I went over Rivy today..It was shit. The roads were full of all kinds of shite and there were a few sheep wandering around the place.

Go buxton, its alot more fun.

For the next 2 months until DAS i'm only on a Yamaha TZR-125.
Bit scared to go up there in-case I hold up all the 'real' bikes Smile

May try it on my day off tomorrow!

You could have bags of fun over there on a 125. I used to when i had my NSR, i would go with a mate that had a CBR 600.

You should have a ride up. I'd come with the both of you if you organised something.

Well on that recommendation i'm preying for sun tomorrow to go have a go!

Meeting sounds good. Will try to organise something when i've got some practice under my belt Smile

How many people are around the north-west? I think we're a minority on this forum.

What do you ride SummY?

Yea we are in short supply round these parts. There are a few others. Names escape me right now. I can't remember any kind of North West meets being organised. I have been away for a while.

I'm on a 600 Hornet these days.

I'm up the road in Liverpool (well, Waterloo about 8 miles from the centre...) Our little group go out a fair bit up and down the B roads.

We've got a Kawa ZZR 600, a Honda Shadow, a Suzuki 500E and my Aprilia RS125 Sad Would be good to meet up with a few other people from here, we don't see that many bikes round our parts for some reason...

It seems like enough people are up for a run over the cat & fiddle. I have just got back from a ride over there..All this talk of it made me want to go!

I hate organising things though. If someone organises a meeting point i'll be there.

As Luke (Blackpool Lad) said there's a Rivington meetup this sunday - I know it's not a great place, usually just middle aged bikers reliving their biking days on their 600's upwards criticising anyone with something European (unless it's Triumph, it's British afterall!) or slightly modified and isn't to their tastes, and how their '94 CBR6 is a far superior bike Rolling Eyes blahblah-blah, blah... blah!

But there is some decent roads nearbye and over the 125 & Aprilia forum there's a few from 'oop North all within easy riding distance of 'the Barn' so it's an easy meetup spot for us all! I'd also love a meetup involving Cat & Fiddle - one of my new favourite roads nearby - so I'd be up for that if anyone organised it. After the Matlock meet a few others would probably show to from South of there (Scotty springs to mind!).

If anyone is up Rivvy this coming sunday - 25th April - then we're meeting up on the Reebok around 11am then riding up there, so look out for a horde of 125's, an FZR400 and my all black Rs250 so come over and say hi Very Happy I'm friendly, I don't know about the others though...
