I'm the kind of lad that loves the women. I have never raised my hand or even shouted at a girlfriend in my life, what can i say i'm a push over. But my ex told me that the nights i had had a drink were awful, i just to tell her to fawk off and call her all the names under the sun. I have never hit her in my sleep or nothing. I just put it down to the drink and with me being a very aggressive and violent person when drunk. I totally sympathise though because i felt like a right penis. But she deserved it really i was treat like shat, maybe it was just my subconscious mind saying what i really wanted to say. I'm not saying that you really want to hit your girlfriend or be a knob etc etc. But thats what i put mine down to.

I completely understand apparently one time my mum came into my room and i was asleep and i started talking about Traffic lights Shocked !!!!! Laughing

How have you only found out tonight if she has a black eye ? Why don't you go and see a doctor. Worse comes to worse sleep in different beds.

secretly i think your girlfriend has been sneaking out after dark only to go to a illegal street fighting club where she fights for money.

she can come and stop at mine if you are that concerned Wink

on a serious note, it sounds like your mind is a bit screwed from the past. its very hard to escape the past when it has been a hard time..... i know, i had a bastard of an ex and it has a big effect on my current relationship Evil or Very Mad but im getting there.
i wouldnt lay a finger on anyone, mine is more...... fook it, im going out on my bike for an hour then we sit down sort things out later.
try getting her to wake you up every time this happens so that you are more aware of it in your sleepy state. if she just lays there and takes it, you will carry on giving it Thumbs Up

I did read some where about this, it's down to a lack of a chemical your brains releases when you're sleeping that paralysis your muscles. In minor cases people talk in there sleep, In extreme cases they can get up start the car and drive it into a tree (true story). The problem is usually exacerbated if the person drinks alcohol, is on some anti depressant medicines or gets over tired. The best thing to do is to go along with these 'waking dreams'. This may be hard if it's a sudden bolt from what you sound like you're experiencing. See a doctor they can give you medicines to help. Also watch your diet for things with high sugars and caffeines. Don't forget that this is a psychological problem. I'm sorry I can't be of more help but I did read this a while ago.

From personal experience, my girlfriend suffers from these sparingly. Sometimes it's just talking in her sleep. But every now and again, generally when she's been working hard, she will sit bolt up right and have panics. It's usually worrying about stuff, like doors being locked or failing tests. It's best to just go along with her and try to reassure her every thing's fine and she'll lie back down and go back to sleep. One time she woke up worrying, I told her everything was fine and went to give her a hug, and she hit me in the chest fairly hard, then went back to sleep. She never remembers any of these.

My dad used to kick his missus to bits in his sleep, and yet had no recollection of it in the morning. He's since go on to develop Parkinson's and lo and behold one of the early symptoms is this kind of behaviour during sleep.

But, don't worry too much you're probably just a subconsciously violent individual. Mr. Green

People can do all sorts of strange things in their sleep. Imagine finding yourself up here when you woke up!

If it's down to drink, stop drinking. If you're not drinking, see your GP who may be able to help.

Why are you asking about this on here? Confused

Go see a doctor if you're serious about getting it sorted, a bunch of 16 year olds aren't going to be able to help you.

Do you have violent thoughts during the day? If so, random, instrusive and unwanted thoughts can be a sign of OCD, which is actually a serious condition, and not the 'neat freak' illness that most people think it is.

Cheers,

Bloke at work suffers from night terrors, most nights he gets up and starts shouting or arguing with 'no-one' other nights he attacks his Missus, he's never actually harmed her apart from a bruise on her arm once, she either ignores him or if he's hitting her she gets out of harms way and punches him lol...

Shared a room with him a few years back at the works chrimbo do ( seperate beds before you start ) and about four in the morning he gets up and starts stomping round the room shouting his bollocks off ( something about cider ! ) then stands on his bed giving a speech, I sat there laughing so hard it gave me a headache, didn't think to film it untill he'd finished... Doh!

Oh tell a lie he did actually strangle her one night, I believe she twisted his bollocks...

A relative of mine got up in the middle of the night and took a dump in the middle of the bedroom floor. In the morning, he swore blind he'd gone to the loo to do it. His wife wan't impressed.

have a read on this website https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parasomnia it covers quite a few things about it

from what i remeber about this (i used to do it ) was your brain normally acts out things that has happend during the day that got you agitated or even angry but you never did anything about it except storing it up, at some point the brain needs to vent and i sounds like its happening when you are asleep. you know try going to a gym or something where you could vent rage at a puchbag and see if it helps Thumbs Up

I bet we could all sit on here and pull 50 wikipedia articles out that describe his symptoms.

You are only paralysed in REM sleep which is when you dream most but you can dream in different stages of sleep, in these stages you are not paralysed. Sleep walking and talking usually occurs in the 4th stage of sleep which is quite a deep sleep so difficult to wake people up from it.

In theory it should only occur in 90 minute intervals and during the beginning of the night as after about 4 hours of sleep you just drift from stages 1 and 2 which are easy to be woken from, and REM sleep.

could relate to my job as a fabricator, as it is a very stressing job as everything has to be dead on and to a standard within the deadline. So Doctor's and punch bag maybe in order. Also (not sure if you remember) I have got the on going problems of voice's inside my head telling me to do violent things and the fact that my gran is dying.

Cheers

Well, all the pieces are slotting together nicely then. Go to docs. Explain everything. You'll prob get sent to a psychiatrist who will evaluate you. Depending on his evaluation, you might be given a bottle of pills (if theres a need to restore equilibrium in your brain chemistry) and some counselling that may help you very much, and after a while you may no longer need the pills. On the other hand, you might find yourself going on a bit of a vacation in a place where someone comes and medicates you on a regular basis, but on the upside at least you wont be serving 20+ for violently murdering your girlfriend in your sleep.

Normally I'd assume this was jsut a case of sleepwalking,as I've had mates that have done the same (i.e got up an punched their missus in their sleep), but since you are hearing voices (STILL!) its time to go see the quack.

Oh my word, I'm going to have to agree with Shaun on this one...never thought I'd ever admit to it, but this is pretty much EXACTLY what I was going to say.

im sorry but if any man hit me awake or asleep he would wake up needing major help frm a doctor!

reminds me of a woman who told us (on a girls nite, huge mistake i may add) about her hubby walking over her to go to the loo in the night. and asking if this happened to anyone else Laughing
then went on to ask if they sold condoms in the ladies.... but that is a whole other story, and verges into the very strange.

One thing to remember - if you go see the doc and get diagnosed/medicated, you lose your excuse to beat the living shit out of your girlfriend on a daily basis.

So you'll have to go back to murdering hookers. Get a car with a boot that has a load cover, and a nice recessed load area that you can get a polythene sheet into without spillage.

I think you live in a fairly rural area with a fair bit of pig farming, so disposing of the bodies is fairly simple once you have cut them into manageable pieces. A petrol powerer wood chipper can be had for about £300 on ebay. They jam sometimes, when this happens you need to take the feeder off, remove the obstruction from the cutting area, and reassemble. Consider using 1/4 turn dzus fasteners if you need to dispose of a body quickly.

Heads are more difficult, and it will be tempting to keep them as a trophy. If you live in a boggy area they can be buried quite easily, and will become difficult to identify in a short space of time.

Vary your route and pickup places - if all the hookers from one street go missing, and you're on CCTV, you could be in trouble. That said, if the street is your route to work and you work late, you have a valid reason to be driving up and down it.

Remember: Be creative, enjoy, and try to avoid hitting your girlfriend.

Have you done her in the gary or punched her in the tits while your asleep?

An ex of mine was violent in her sleep and had severe night terrors. Turned out she had sensitivty to caffiene. Once she cut it out she was fine.
