I should be old enough to know better i guess.
I split with my partner of 5.5 years early October, we had been struggling for a few months, no abuse or anything thrown about just changed and were no longer compatible.

But the thing is now that i'm single some ladies have got in contact with me. A girl mate of mine has been trying to hook me up with her friend who has liked me for sometime. She is a really sweet girl, and now i've got to know her a bit better i really enjoy spending time with her. I cant stop thinking this is a re-bound or something, but on the other hand i feel at ease with her and we have loads to chat about.
Reason i ask i guess is because she know's what i've come out of and asked me if i was cool with whats going on. I dont want to mess her about.

It's bloody weird going on 'dates' after over 5 years of a pretty solid relasionship. I took her for dinner last night and as it happens she's at Uni until May this year, she hangs around with some 'boys' who basically wouldn't even hold a door open for her on a night out.
She thinks i'm a gentlemen just for buying her drinks!

Oh and as it happens one of my ex's best mates came into the restaurant last night and saw me out with this lady.
