Any one heard of them or have any idea on quality/finish etc ?

Here's the thing. After seeing a mates M2R leathers (made in Aus I believe) I was quite liked the style and liked the price even more (more the style though Smile ). So I set about trying to track some down.
I did manage to find some on ebay but rather than being a 2 piece they only had a one piece available as per this pic (on the right )
https://i11.ebayimg.com/08/i/001/01/ec/b9c3_1.JPG.

Now after selecting the buy it now option and paying immediately I was informed my item would be shipped next day.
Unfortunately I have received another email a day later (today) telling the the item in the size I had won had been sold just hours before I made the purchase.
Ok so this stuff happens. Coming from a customer service background I understand shit happens sometimes and ultimately it's how you recover from such incidents that can make or break any relationship you have with the customer.

That said the email I received is below

Hi Brett, We have a slight hiccup. Unfortunately the last M2R full leather suit was sold by our warehouse guy just before you won the auction. I do however have a Motofast full leather suit worth a little more (you can have for the same price of course) but the colours are Black, silver and red. I hope this is ok. If your not happy please let me know. If this is ok with you come back to me and i'll get it out to you tomorrow morning. Thanks. Kind Regards, Jess Smile

Now I've asked them to get me a pic of the suit before I make a decision but have never of motorfast as far as leathers go.

I've also just got another email telling me some pics are on the way. So far they are doing well.
I think they are also made in Pakistan but am i wrong in thinking some of the other brands are also made there as well?

Suggestions or opinions are welcome.

Lots of brands are made in asian countries.

I would be slightly suspicious that this was a standard 'scam', though it's probably not... ie they are actually a crappy alternative that is being offered and they make it sound like they're doing you a favour.

If you do go for them, mention it in the feedback.

Thanks mate, checked out that site but not a lot of info on there though.

As for the scam part anything is possible.

Although I have already sent them the money, they have been in contact half a dozen times trying to give me alternatives, have sent a pic of the new ones to my mobile phone, are local (40 minute drive away) and have a fair bit of feedback including some specific to the leathers.
So all said it's looking pretty safe.
Still never can tell I guess.

Will have to wait and see.
Thumbs Up

Are they off ebay?? Iv been umming and ahhing about a 1 piece on ebay for over a week now, the main thing putting me off is if they dont fit its gonna cost about an extra £40 to send the wrong size back and have the next size sent out.

Anybody a similar size to me can you tell me what size leathers you take? Im thinking il be a 42. Im 5'10" around 11 1/2 stone, 39ish chest, 33ish waist and about 31 inside leg. Ive noticed most leathers cover a big variation in just one size.

Any one else bought leathers of net and had sizing issues?? Thumbs Up

They are off ebay but they gave me the measurements broken down. So hopefully it should be pretty good.

If you have a google there are plenty of size charts for various brands which is more specific than just the one size measurement like 50 for example.

hello ....
I work for Motofastusa (www.motofastusa.com) promoting their new product line here in the states. Most of the products are very well made although they seem to be sized a little small compared to most brands. Fit and finish is really good. We've received lots of good feedback from the International Motorcycle Show in Arizona the other day. The MFI-8063 is the top of the line suite for the price. Check out the website, it's new and we're constantly updating it, so check back often. Motofast provides the ultimate range of protection for riders.[/list]
