my bike is spluttering started happening after i went off RD

could my cdi be fucked causing this its like it sets of ok but at the last bit of rev on every gear it farts out on me makes like a deep sound maybe my airbox could be blocked or sumit any Pro's to answer for me

Yes, your airbox may be blocked. Why don't you take the cover off and have a look?

Could be fuel line is blocked with some crap.

Is it doing it under load or when you are just reving it.

if the 'off RD' bit means off road and it was a bit wet it is possible you either have water in the bottom of your carb (the likely one) or a very blocked air filter as said already.
i very much doubt it will be your cdi unit.

the model is a honda xr 125 l4 2004 model pretty clean its done just under 8k yes the OFF RD=off road right when i take the air box off what should i clean it with? and shud i put some kinda oil on the foam inside the airbox if there is any lol im not experianced but will have a go at fixing things like this as the honda shop will pull my eyes outa ma head ..

when you say is it spluttering at underload no its when i pull the rev back a little more than half way it just looses power nd it makes a mad boreeeee noise like its chokin and its balls have dropped theres no pull of init its like its dragging

I think they generally reccomend that you replace the air filter instead of clean it. I wouldn't expect it to cost more than £5-£10. and as for the oil - you're supposed to use proper air filter oil, but I think 3in1 or similar works just as well.

i still think it is main jet related. as in blocked or water in the float bowl.

try draining it
