She might be my boss, but she seems rather useless. I spend my coffee breaks chuckling at the endless propaganda spilling out of 2 Marsham Street at her behest.

Despite being pro-government (as a concept, not pro NL), despite holding continuous high-level security clearance since I was 17 and despite liking the security of being able to prove my ID and status with my forces ID/Immigration or Police warrant - I still can't work out what use these new UK ID cards will be, bearing in mind they don't seem to involve doing any extra checks beyond those already carried out to get most other forms of ID already available!

People who lives below the law, scum, chavs, thugs, whatever you want to call them. Their lives will be minimally affected by the ID card act.

This is absolutely and nothing more than criminalizing and monitoring Joe Bloggs, as they are the only ones who pose a threat to the corrupt and power-mad institution that is western government.

Please, someone tell me why else they're doing it. Aside from the obscene amounts of public money that will be given to private contractors (Anyone notice this happens a lot with your taxes?).

An invasion of Iraq, a blatant igorance to the public's want for a referendum on the EU, slowly slipping ID cards into the public system with propaganda, and people still believe this is a democracy where 'the people' are in control.

It's a simple method of programming and they do it all the time. Listen out for "I think the public.....", "We think Britain needs....." and Lindsay Roy mentioned "securing jobs" in his speech in Glenrothes. Who's jobs was he thinking about?
