The DR will be gone by Sunday if all goes well. Finances are dictating that another bike will be at least another year away, so I will be a bikeless biker.

I'll still bob on every now and then, but I'd better keep it to a minimum or all the chat about two wheels will see me ebaying the baby for a Fireblade, so I'd better demonstrate some self restraint!

Well, the bikes gone, and even the boots have been bought. I might even put the helmets in the bin tomorrow. Can't belive it's over.

A friend of mine just told me that her daughters friend had to fly home from holiday early this week after her Dad was killed on his bike somewhere near my home. Never thought I'd say this but a bike now seems so far away from my world it's almost not there.

Motorcycles and motorcycling of any tiype has always been the major player in my life and a big part of who I am, I never thought this day would come. Maybe in a few years when I have a bigger house and the kids are older I'll splash out on a toy, until then, gulp, I'm a biker no more. Feel like I've lost a limb......
