I am going to be buying a nsr125 in the next week or two,i am new to all this,can anyone explain what the difference is between each of the models available.i.e nsr 125,125r,125 supersprint ect,if theres a big difference whats the best to go for ?.

Paul, how the hell can you afford the insurance on an NSR 125 in Dublin?? Its a bloody rip off! Its cheaper to get insured on a CBR 250.

The answer to your question is i dont know. I couldnt afoord the 125 so I got the 80 instead. Happy hunting!

if u are buyin an nsr in ireland it will be full power
all models are, unless some seriously evil fucker tries to flog u a restricted one
just go for a 1997 on-they all the same over here
also shamrock, feel like meetin up for a spin now that the good weather is in?

RR are imports

Supersprint is just a sticker!

dont buy a uk spec!

i have heard people having problems with imports. i want an import 1 myself because its 500 quid cheaper new. so the dealers were right when they told me theirs is uk spec parts'n alll.

yeah its 500 quid cheaper because imports are bitches when it comes to getting parts.

get a 2000+bike there the most reliable of the nsr's and the nicer in my opinion.

the nsr125r1 is the uk modul nsr most people in here have 1.
the nsr125rk is the slightly older nsr still fully faired

the nsr125r1 is the fastest 1 thogh its the only 1 that will keep up with an rs, plus its got better suspention then the older ones

dont go gettin one unless u have-20 year old in dublin can expect to pay about 6000 minimum
