Had mine 5 months and must say its a hell of alot better than my previous bike (CBR 125) it handles very well with decent rubber on ( Pilot road 2, Dunlop roadsmarts, BT90's )

Brakes are adequate with the standard pads, but they are vastly improved with EBC pads like mine has.

Reliability, no problems here apart from mine didn't like starting much during heavy downpours, quick change of both spark plugs has sorted that.

Speed looking about 70/75 mph on the flat, on par with the other 4T 125's, still not as fast as the 2 smokes.

Finish, not quite on par as Jap bikes, but not as bad a chinese bikes, but with anybike, if you look after it their should be no problems.

Overall im happy with it, persuading me to trade it in for the GT650R me thinks Smile

hyosung on the whole are good bikes, they are licenced to build there engines etc on older suzuki designs,

I haven't heard of any bad problems with the gt/gtr bikes apart from maybe inconsistant finnish, but the build quality is meant to be generaly pretty good (puts most other far eastern bikes to shame).

Not related to the thread but the single cylinder stuff can suffer from cam bearing failure but i think that is down to budget bearings rather than design fault, and if you check the vin tag on most of the cruise 2 bikes, you will find they show a manufacture date of 1997 for some reason, the last cruise i saw was on a 05 plate and that was the same.

Had mine (the gt rather than the gtr) for about 5 months, was a great bike. They can do over 60, although need a bit of a run up (top speed i got was just over 80 indicated on a nice long downhill stretch of the M25 near redhill, way into the redline though). Handling is good, higher centre of gravity than the ybr or cg so easier to flick on / off roundabouts, but harder to do your low speed maneuvers.

I'd recommend one, so much so in fact that I've got a 250r on its way.

Arrow Finish

Arrow engine has a bit more poke as it is claimed to have the full learner limit as opposed to 11bhp like the CBR.

Arrow Brakes are better and have a better feel.

Arrow Suspension is alot better as it sticks through corners as opposed to wallowing.

Arrow Better selection of rubber

Arrow Looks better and sounds better.

Mine was very reliable - my only beef with it being that most of the exposed metal, particularly the downpipes, collector box etc, rusted like hell.

One of the better 125's out there Thumbs Up

Mine did about 60/65 tops. It's a heavy bike.

One possible thing is the cam chain tensioner. If there's a rattle from the front end it likely needs replacing, my 250 needed this doing (which is why it's being repaired and delivered rather than sitting outside my house).
