Nothing comming the other way and you don't have to cross the white line, go right.
Going left can lead to running in loads of slippery rubbish...
I personally totally avoid going over.....

Just rememeber no matter what you do, make sure you slow down.

You could always ask the tester 1st....


New bikers would have been a far better place for this as you get many who have taken tests who will be better able to advise.

I'd go straight over on the test, making sure you slow down a bit (not too much). I try and go round them but some of them you can't or it is just as bad. Those I go straight over but lift my arse just off the seat.

iirc you're allowed to ride around them, so long as you ride at an appropriately reduced speed, and you remember any change of direction or speed means you do a shoulder check first.

That's provided there's nothing coming the other way and you shoulder check first.

on the RXS100 when i had that for a week when the GSXR was off the road, flat out at speed humps standing up, yank up on the bars and you get about a 10 meter standup wheelie top it off with a big red top box and full leathers and you're looking at the weirdest wheelie you'll ever see.

as for the GSXR, i just flat outed them because my fork seals were fucked anyway.

now they're sorted, im all slow and careful

Was going to make a joke about humping but I can't be arsed. I was told to go around them by my instructor as it's safer (you're not unbalancing yourself I think). Passed first time so.

I went over one on my first test which I failed. However it wasn't a factor, he mentioned it, made a joke about my testicles and that was that.

Personally, on my zxr I'll go around, except these awesome ones in Faversham, which as matt says, if you go over same as you'd pop a cheeky one over a humpback bridge you get a nice little front end lightness. If you do it right you can actually leave the ground totally and land front wheel first. (I can't do this personally, but I've seen it done.)
