...can put decals onto my freshly painted fairing.
I've got the stickers but keep hearing how difficult it is to put them on right and how I should get a pro to do it.
Can anyone recommed someone like this in the Manchester area, and roughly how much this is going cost?
Cheers,

If you want to do it yourself wet the area with some soapy water (using a spray type bottle is good for this), this will allow you to put the sticker on and move it around if its not exactly right etc.
Then simply start smoothing it out to get rid of any bubbles etc and there you go.
Not such a hard job - I guess its just because people put the sticker straight on to the paint and it sticks, so if it wasn't in the right place the jobs going to go rats when they try to pull it off/get rid of air bubbles etc.
Hope this is of some help

..ok then, that sounds simple enough - what's the best way to get old stickers off without damaging the paintwork? ____________________ Just face it, some days you're the pigeon and others the statue...

Hair dryer to soften them, then peel them off.
The sticky residue that will more than likely be left can be removed with wd40 on a cloth. Make sure you give it all a good wash afterwards before putting new stickers on. ____________________ The BCF's very own Party boy! Though he's getting old and feeling it!
