Well as this is my very first post here what better way to start than by saying that I have my bike test tomorrow.

Im quite nervous about it, Ive had a full days training today and have another half a day tomorrow before my test at 12.30.

My instructor says I should pass with no problem but im still nervous.

So I guess i'll let you know the outcome tomorrow.!! Neutral

Well ive FAILED..!!

And im very disappointed with myself.

I only picked up 2 minor faults on what was a near perfect ride.

Both my u turn and emergency stop were both spot on.

I failed on the most stupid of things and I have no idea what made me do it.

I was asked to turn right at traffic lights on a busy duel carriageway the traffic lights have a green right filter arrow aswell as the usual lights.
And like a lemon I sat and waited for the green arrow even tho the traffic on the other carriageway was clear.
untill I was prompted by the examiner to go at which point I knew id failed.

My test is rebooked for the 4th of December.

Ah that's a shame, at least you know where you went wrong and can correct it for next time. I did stupid things on my first test and failed i.e sitting behind a bus- was totally in the wrong position on the road..should have stuck out a bit more to the right and gone when it was clear. examiner then had to pass me and the bus Sad = FAIL

Good luck for 4th December Thumbs Up

Don't beat yourself up about it mate, it happens to the best of us, me included Laughing
I failed mine last month on leaving too much space on my left turning left out of a junction, even though I done my lifesaver and saw that nothing came up the inside left of me I still failed, which I thought was a bit harsh, but I'm not an examiner so what do I know Laughing

Just focus on keeping your riding up to standard and put a little bit more thought into the sort of situation you found yourself in, when approaching lights check the lanes and lights as far in advance as you can so you don't get caught out when you get up to them. Thumbs Up

Its very grey area, staying put until your sure can be marked down as hesitation or not making progress, you cant win either way Rolling Eyes
