Judge Judy gave someone a big bollocking for selling a picture of a phone on ebay. Just because people are stupid doesn't mean you can take advantage of them.

I agree he should have at least opened the box to show what was in there, but i knew straight away pretty much that it was just box with charger and manual etc, minus the phone.. someone even asked about the phone and he told them it includes no phone, I can imagine there will be some pissed off person who opens that when he gets it, I'd say some people are really stupid and should start actually reading what they are buying before putting a bid in.

At the end of the day, it is the persons responsibility to READ what it says in the auction. He clearly says five times that it is a box without phone one way or another:

1)

'nokia n95 box,
complete with headphones,battery,charger,software,'

2)

'nokia n95 box in excellent condition complete with all unopened headset,av leads,discs,manuals,battery and charger.'

3)

'i have another one on auction due to losing 2 n95s in 3 months.'

and again within the item description box. People should be extra cautious with eBay. I don't condone this sort of thing, and I hope that he/she get their just desert. I watched that episode of Judge Judy, in the end, she ordered that the person who sold a 'Picture of a phone', to pay the buyer something, if I remember it correctly. Perhaps the fees for the 'phone'.

Well he did say it was just a box and that Judge Judy one didnt say it was just a picture of a phone. So he has been honest poeple have just been a bit stupid.

I wish she was my mum. If my mum wasn't my mum though cos she is ace too and would no doubt be offended to find out that i wanted Judge Judy to be my mum instead!
