Nokia N95 warranty

Ok, so i'm sick to death of my n95, it's already broken 3 times and i've sent it back to O2 and it's been covered by the warranty.

Now to get a different phone under the same contract the phone needs to be replaced 4 times... so im basically asking how can i damage my N95 so that it is covered by the warranty? Laughing

I guarantee that if you have one of these phones, something WILL have gone wrong with it! they are shocking don't buy one!!

I got mine as soon as they came out, so I've had it for coming up to two years.

Dropped it, got it wet, got sand in it, taken it apart to clean out said said.

The only thing that has gone wrong was the speaker giving up. The speaker and the tools to fix it cost me a fiver off ebay, and took me about 5 minutes to fix.

Best phone I've had in years. It does everything, it works, and it's surprisingly tough.

If yours is working, and you want rid of it, sell it.
If you really want to break it, open it up and break one of the contact legs on the earpiece speaker.

We're selling those on tmobile at work for £180. They're supposedly brand new mail order returns. Not sure i'd buy one now tho.

I must say, they are brilliant phones. And they set the benchmark for new phones.
But the build quality is just absolutely shocking. I mean, with the slider problem (which I have never actually suffered myself) dodgey loudspeakers that break if you put them up to full, earpieces that go fuzzy* and firmware that had to be updated about 5 times before they eventually got it right...

Also the N96 is out which is a replacement for the N95 and I want it. Twisted Evil

*there is a REALLY easy fix for this, just stick a pin thats not too sharp in the 2 small holes in the earpiece and kinda click them in and out without peircing the foil- it won't be fuzzy anymore Smile
