Yamaha also developed a 2wd enduro bike, had a hydraulic front drive. That looks to have a small electric motor though.

i think the drive comes off the same sprocket that the back wheel is driven off.

yes its a hill climber hence the tyres and 2wd

Yeah looking at it a second time, looks like the front sprocket could be driving a hydraulic pump, powering the front wheel.

Iirc, the yamaha one was something like 75% rear and 25% front.
