Just in case you've had the slight case of the gay that went round recently, Mamma Mia! was released on DVD yesterday and Asda are doing it for £7, if you're quick enough. Woolies are doing it for a tenner with a calendar, but Amazon are doing it for £7.99, delivered.

Y'know, for your wife, or girlfriend. Or mum. But definiately not for yourself.

I never want to see that film ever. I know my poor dad had to endure it at the cinema with my mum who is an abba fan. he said he enjoyed it but seruously I think he was lying he could not possibly have enjoyed it unless mum was threatning to stab him if he complained. I was going to buy it for mum for xmas but apparently someone got there before me.

We were discussing this last night at our ballroom class, where my wife was crowned Dancing Queen. She said to me knowing me, knowing you I am not sure if I should buy this DVD. Well I told her she could take a chance on me, she was overwhelmed and her Italian background came out. “Mamma Mia!” she exclaimed. I thought my luck was in and she would lay all her love on me later that night, my super trooper would be getting his monthly outing.

So the next morning a slightly bedraggled missus woke up and said she had had a dream. In this dream she bought lottery ticket at Woolworths and won ten quid, with that Money she had purchased the DVD, the last one in the shop, the winner takes it all. I reminded her she was always dreaming about money, money, money and there was ……….. etc

Considering what the majority percieve you and some of the other younger members as, being better than a Mamma Mia DVD (which, might I add, grossed around £300 million worldwide at the box office) is quite a compliment.
