Not for motorcycle touring but that's irrelevant, I'm in Northern Ireland for just over a week shortly and need somewhere real cheap to stay, found a few cheap B&Bs but there's not many and a lot only have the odd day available, so would prefer to sort just one place out for the whole week.

Anyone know of anywhere specific to stay, don't really care what sort of accomodation it is, holiday park type caravan/chalet is fine, or a room wherever, just no youth hostel type dorms. Gotta be in County Down too or south Antrim if it's fairly near Belfast, and i'm not camping...

All the best

A B&B along Seacliff Rd just up from the harbour, got a decent deal for a few nights and looks nice enough.

Good luck, the last time I was in NI was 1994, and I slept with a knife in my hand.

We were staying at a hostel in a loyalist area. Absolute mental, I had an english accent, but lived in Cork.

1 mate got arrested for taking pictures of an army patrol.

Me and a french mate did a tour of all the rough areas, Shankil, Falls etc.

Remember being in a bar on the Shankils (rough as f**k) lighting up a cigaratte and realising my box of matches had an irish tricolour on it.

Not been back in nearly 15 years.
