i bid for a set of kx125 usd forks, for £20 in bedford ( like around the corner.

And i email saying can i have his address and if he tells me when hes in i will come collect them. and he emails me back and says

"I don't have time to do individual pick ups, please send cheque I will dispatch on receipt via royal mail special delivery "

so i email saying thats £20 postage and if you have time to go to post office ect. any way this is the funny bit so he emails me back again and says............

"You read My description and you know the ebay rules, I don't tolerate time wasters, If you want the parts send Me a cheque, if you are going to be a non paying bidder I will destroy your ebay credibility. LMAO "

so my idea was if he givens me negative feed back cant i just say in my feedback that i sent him the money in my feed back not bothered just thought it was a genius idea?

If it comes to the worst you could leave a link in reply to feedback section where you can get a chance to fully explain the situation to anyone else that may want to trade with you on Ebay. You could probably link it to this thread.

yeah if you just live round the corner basically he must be hiding something i would think. Anybody selling anything would like to meet in person, much easier, quicker, and cheaper!

The guy does sound like an arse and he has stated COD, and he is also taking the piss with the delivery charge.

But what I would say is that you should always check before bidding to see if it's all right to come and pick things up at peoples houses. Lots of folk don't like to have strangers coming to there door for things, it doesn't necessarily mean they have something to hide.

You could always make up some IDs at a later date and keep winning his auctions then claiming he never sent the goods after you paid.

More likely, is that he's either 16 and scared of you, or is making a bomb on the postage!

I personally think £18 is quite reasonable postage for what is getting sent, forks ain't exactly light.
