What do you do when you can't sleep?

Well last night/this morning I couldn't sleep. Laid in bed for 2 hours without any luck. I had been painting my room and only had half done from the previous week (busy most of the time y'see)

Then I though fuck it! Got out of bed, re arranged my room, moved things out the way and start painting! Then removed my old curtains, put in the new ones.

After I had finished I went to the toilet and when I came back I could smell the fumes from the paint so so badly. And then I finally went to sleep. At half past 8 in the morning?

I judge insomnia by the amount of wanks I've had before finally sleeping.

Usually if it gets too bad just find something to watch on the net for an hour or two.

Sometimes doing a quick load of pressups can give me enough of a slump to sleep.

Sometimes Im lucky,othertimes I,ll go downstairs watch sky news while scratching my nuts or wanking and then flick through the porn channels before going back up to bed and aggravating her again, then she gets up with the ump because the babies are crying and comes back to bed to find me snoring like a baby sprawled out cross the bed.

I usually toss and turn, and think I'll just get up and watch a dvd and go to work with no sleep, then I usually last til about half 5, then crash, then can't get out of my kip...then fall in work door around half 10

And I can't sneak in as the whole building can hear my funking exhaust

I can make myself go to sleep

If I want to go to sleep then I can normally make myself go to sleep in 30mins. Explained it to a few people how I do it but it never works for them...

I guess I have never had proper insomnia

Normally if I can't sleep its because I have a hundred stupid and usually un-important thoughts all spinning around my head.

Reading usually does the trick, it replaces the stupid thoughts and settles me down. Can take a while but it usually works.


Not tried the pressups one...will have to try that next time.

I am getting alot of this lately now. Been up since 7am and was up all night peeing due to my delicate condition. I listened to music to try and relax myself to sleep and I just got frustrated even more. sometimes I read a book.
