I reckon there is some media 'luvvie' in the background telling them which songs they must say they love on air, thus proceed to play it to death until everyone hates it.

Prime examples include:

Plain White T's - Hey there Delilah
Amy Wino (ft Mark Ronson) - Valerie
The Script - Man who cant be moved
Rhianna - Any track you want.


They are aired so often that they grind and piss you right off.

I quite like the Killers, and I wouldn't go as far as to say they're overrated. People who say they're overrated have generally only listened to the singles and not right through an album, where certain hidden gems lie. It's the same with any band really. People hear the singles and wonder what the fuss is about, but it only really tells half the story.

The new song isn't that good though, I'll agree on that.

Not really relevant, but I'd like to punch Chris Martin from Coldplay in the face. And James Blunt... but he'd probably be able to take it without blubbing like a big girl because he's an ex army officer.

Killers are acceptable in comparison, however they did steal their name from one of the best Iron Maiden albums.
