Er, sorry to scupper the negativity, but that WAS the fast group guys - there is nowhere else to go! 
I'd love to have known what he did to that GIXER, its not like there weren't other thous out there, but his seemed a missile, just absolutely ripped on anything else out there!!!! ... look at it go!!! 
I really REALLY enjoyed that session as I had a mission 
The guy gave me a wave of appreciation for my efforts shortly after that clip ended and he backed off a bit ... (I think he had enjoyed it too, but was a bit knackered after all that duelling).
I obviously got a little distracted as I missed the next apex and went off the track https://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=it-zIXnj3Fw ... you will see him go straight on at the end of the clip too ... after the corner I missed ... so we had both distracted each other by our actions and lapsed concentration for a few split seconds and consequently gone straight on!!  ... no harm done mind

Fast group?! you should try WSB if you can leave people standing like that in the fast group.

It wasn't the fastest group I have ever been in, no, but fairly typical to be honest.
If you have ever been there, Silverstone GP is quite a daunting track, its also very wide, I think lots of people struggle to find a line. That particular vid is one of my faves and it was taken last Nov, so pretty cold out, ascertaining grip can be an issue and prolly some were struggling to find the limits/having a few scares? ... but I am only guessing - again, you will have to ask them!!
As for racing minitwins ... na, not me ... retired from racing now!! too old

Fair enough, just an oberservation. I've been on Silverstone GP. It's ok, not one of my favourites I must say.
Trackdays are always a bit weird with the ability spread too. Some days you'll get slower than others. I'm usually middle of advanced. It's unusual to see anyone really running away with it, that's what made me assume it was novice, especially when you look at the corner speeds of some of them.
Last time I was out was with lots of british superstock racers in september. That was very fast .

Oh and if you didn't find it interesting as it was on an SV ... how about this one - same day, but on an RSV-R Mille ... personally I think it is a bit boring compared to the SV-GIXER one! (hence why I originally posted that one)
