er, take off the sidepanels and undo the bolts?

not even close but got it sorted eventually you have to take out the extender nuts the back pillion grab rail is fastened to its a bolt that bolts into a bolt Confused

i replaced the main and big end shells on one about 15years ago, was the last time i saw one!
