Is that a recent video? If so you really lucked out with the weather!!

If you hadn't have said it was an SP1, I'd have sworn it was an IL4 ... it sounds very 'revvy' ...

So what do you hold accountable for the flickering? Loose wire? wobbly mount?

Finally what camera/recorder setup do you have?

It was at end of August this year, weather was lovely and rained on the way home We've been well lucky with trackdays this year, got sun burnt every time

It was a loose cable, pretty annoying really but hopefully have it sorted now. More annoyingly it didnt record my last session where I had a very clear run and actually got some very smooth laps in

The setup is a 480line bullet cam from Ebay US, comes with all the stuff like battery holder, mic, cables etc cost about £70 inc P+P and I also had a small SD camcorder which accepts AV-In, which is also from the US because most UK stuff doesnt have AV-In recording functions due to some stupid tax increase if it records. Quality would be better if I had a better recording device but its watchable.

but looks like the crap exchange rate hasnt helped It was $2 to £1 when I bought mine. I have no quibbles with the quality of the kit though, its all very well made.

I like the idea of the sticky mount too ... if you got yours a while ago, then they will probably keep running the item ... I'll wait until the pound recovers a bit and get one
