Experiences with makes of Kit

Bit of a general topic really, popped to bike show today, quite a few bargains on texport, berik and teknic 1 piece suits, all with armour odd one with foam back padding. Question really is has anyone got anything from the above 3 manufacturers and is it half decent?
Thinking i may have to go back snap one up just didn't want to buy what i don't know anything of today really.

I got a Texport 2pc last year from the J&S stand.

I would avoid stuff on that stand unless you inspect everything carefully.

My suit had missing stitching above the rear stretch panel and the fly zipper was missing. Other than that, it's been fine for the 4 times i've worn it. I have heard to watch out for the zips breaking so I have been extra careful with mine.

Mate of mine uses berik leathers for racing, Heard good stuff about them Also Rev-It Gear id never heard of them but i got the gloves which where pretty good then i got the jacket Thumbs Up

+1 for rev-it stuff it fits me spot on the 2 piece, but i didnt notice any bargains for that today.

I've got the REV-IT Warp jacket and Factor trousers. They zip up together nicely and do quite a decent job at keeping the rain out whilst being warm with the thermal liners installed. I basically have one thin long sleeved top under the jacket and I feel fine. That's on a 30 mile commute each way. They were also quite cool in the summer without the liners and the various vents opened up. Got Knox armour in all the right places too - shoulders, back, elbows, hips and knees. Recommended. Thumbs Up

My teknic chicane one piece is comfy and fits me well, for the price compared to other makes i really cant complain. Crashed at about 70ish in it and it only has a few scuffs after i slid down a verge.

I haven't had experience with those brands, but just so you're aware.

Ignore the foam back padding. It does nothing. If you want to protect your back properly get a standalone protector.
