Hi,

Been riding my bike around 2 weeks and and already need new fairing...no fault of mine or the bikes, a car decided to not check at a junction on one of the back roads of my estate and decided to go straight into me -.-

So basically I need a full fairing set for a XGJAO 125 (bike) XGJ125-23(model) its basically an import replica of the Honda CBR (I actually raced the real CBR125 and won - I love my restricted import haha) so yeah my main question is where is the best place to get new fairing?

I highly doubt it's restricted.

Also, as for fairings? Good luck! It's Chinese by the sounds of it and most probably the only place of finding any replacement parts for that bike is the person you bought it from.

Also, there's nothing amazing about beating a cbr125. Wink

It was purchased restricted and is still restricted, and its amazing to beat a CBR125 on the replica of it that's supposed to be of far less quality.

As for the fairing its universal so it doesn't limit me to buying from china.

Is it a higher powered 2T? Is it even a 2T? If not, then it's not restricted. My 125cc (Chinese as well) said it was restricted. It wasn't. The only restriction to a 125cc 4T is, well the engine!

Also, universal fairings? Laughing

As in you can fit CBR fairings on to it? If so then just ebay.

If it's not the CBR fairings then you will have to get them from the dealer you bought it from!

Any chance you could upload pictures?

If it's anything like this then it won't be restricted

As above, there's no such things as 'universal fairings', definitely for road bikes. Your best bet is probably getting the correct Chinese ones as they tend not to be too expensive. Or you could just use gaffa tape.

'Beating' a CBR125 only really means something if you know they were trying and know they knew how to ride their bike as well as your bike having the same top speed as their bike.

Unless your bike is a 2 stroke, it's highly unlikely to be restricted.

hi,
i have owned a couple of these bikes.
though the build quality isnt up to the standards of honda, its one of the better chinese bikes.
bog standard cg clone engine though.(156fmi probably or the newer version)
good for 75-80 max.
always worth sticking a bigger main jet in & an open air filter, & if it has "enrichener pump" loosen it off as it runs rich as standard.
or a better carb (mikuni 28/30mm),
as for fairings, sold under various names, skyjet, voto, superbyke etc.
most chinese parts places will have them, chinesemotorcyclepartsonline,china-parts limited, ebay etc.
thin cheap plastic though, fades quickly & breaks easily.
easy to repair with plastech, or fibre glass repair kit.
tail light & rear indicators are better replaced with rear light unit from the cbr150, looks better & has integrated indies, & is a straight fit.
not sure about the other cbr plastics fitting though...
though i do know the footrests & hangers fit, as the chinese ones are very brittle, usually snap whren the bike is dropped.
cheers,
GAZ
