Hi
I crashed my cagiva planet on friday on a wet grid Sad I was gutted. The handlebars are bent (thinking of replacing with renthals for street fighter look), the exhaust is scratched to bit and the rest are just niggly little things. I was just wondering if you have any suggestions on a replacement exhaust for it. I've seen the arrow exhaust but its to small, do you know of any medium size cans that would look good on my bike. Please reply

I'd wait until after the winter before repairing scratches. It's only just started and you might go over again anyway.

My friend has a Cagiva Planet with the arrow can on it, it was on it when he got it so I can't comment on any performance increase but it's quite loud and looks good aswell I think.

Nice pic by the way! How did you take that?? Thats some mint camera you've got there mate lol. Anyways i know but i think it's to small personally, it's quite a big looking bike, but as soon as you see that you can tell its only a 125. I like to petend its bigger you see lol. Told a guy the other night that it was a 750cc and he believed me lol he didn't know a thing about bike but i was still happy Smile Cheers anyway

A 750 with L's on, your right the guy knows nothing about bikes, I take it it was a wet manhole cover that caused the spill?

I did say he was a bit stupid lol. Yep, wet and frozen man hole cover, a bus pulled out i broke and just went flying. I was just shocked how easy it happened, i was only nipping out for a minute aswell Sad Oh well it happens i suppose.

I've learnt that front brakes in the icy and wet are the devil the hard way. Harsh luck dude.

I took the pic with a canon 450D with a slowish shutter speed and panned with him as he rode past.

Ha ha, it must be a thing with planet owners as my mate usually tells people it's a 250 and then I'm just stood there cracking up!

Honestly, if you're exhaust is just a bit scratched and not holed I'd leave it on and put the money you'd of spent on a pipe towards your test and then getting a bigger bike unless you spot an ebay bargain on a pipe or something.

the arrow can increases the performance, but thats only if you get the more snorkels for the airbox, and upjet the carb.
