Hello.

well the reason for this topic is about my bike, i got hit by a car by a couple of days ago and the insurance company gave me a rang today and said they won't get it repaired but would give me 102 Neutral. and they said to me that the bike is valued at £1.202 which i was quite happy with as i only bought it for 400 with low millage Very Happy .

anyways as the bike is not that bad condition and i know what is wrong with it. just wanna see if you guys can help me.

Looks like i need a new fuel line. the air filter casing, well the hole air filter is gone only. some plastic is missing and that is anyways i show some pictures to see if you think this will time to fix. as i need it for collage work and gym.

and heres a little video of the bike lol https://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=WXOd8tMkv8o

, from the second picture u can see the fuel line is ripped a bit and u can see a little bit of petrol leaking if not tell me so i can make it clearer, and before you say, just sell it save up for a das test and get a 400cc i dont want to, im already taking driving lessons and nearly passed just got £200 quid saved up atm from my new job.

I'd stick a K&N on the end of that intake, saves getting a new airbox etc.

As for the fuel line, it's pretty standard stuff, just replace it and make sure you put the proper clips on it.

Not sure about the fuel line but K&N advertise at the bottom of threads (adverts alternate each time you enter a thread).

id say DONT get a K&N, as a stock would probably be the same price if not cheaper.
plus they're shit for this sort of weather, and unless you jet the carbs and possibly get a whole new exhaust system you arent going to reap the benefits of a K&N.

hi,
that particular socket set is a decent one.
are you planning on using the tools often?
& what tools do you have now?
if you have no tools whatsoever, just get a full tool set from somewhere like argos or summit.
i know you get what you pay for, & most of my tools are good ones, but i use them often.
one of those kits with the red metal tool chest, you can always add to it, with halfords pro sockets (which is what i do) theres one for under a £100 & its got most tools you'll need. (pretty sure argos will have a sale on soon though,as usual)
if its something im not going to use all the time, i just buy cheap & replace when neccesary.
dunno what a "road wheel spider" is though, lol
cheers,
GAZ

Hi,
wheel brace?
cross shaped thing with sockets at each point, for removing wheel nuts?
forget one of them & get decent socket of correct size & a 2 ft breaker bar.
cheers,
