peugeot spped fight 2 50cc starter probs

my speedfight 2 50 cc starts on the kick but
not on the electric starter
i have changed the battery & plug with new ones but nothing

i was told it maybe the starter motor

anyone got a picture of where it's located please
or any advice on how to get to it (what to remove) &
what it looks like please.

can you not hear it spinning when you press the button?

does the engine turn over but not fire when you press the button?

do you hear a click when you press the button?

it should be held on by 2 screws that will come off easly with the right size allen key

The starter motor is located on the wheel side of the variator casing. When it engages it engages through a hole in the back of the casing and onto the variator itself.

As has been said, quite easy to replace with it being held on by just 2 bolts.

i can here a click when i press the button so is it the motor that's gone ??

any advice would be good

do i need to remove the side panel to get at the starter motor ?
