i had an aprillia RS50 for a while. Same, thing no matter what the yammer-heads tell you. The stock 50's don't do much more than 60mph. Expect to pay 200-300 to get 75mph out of it.
Usually: power pipe, smaller rear sprocket, bigger carburettor, fast (race-ported) cylinder (in that order)

i talked to one chap who said he could get 65mph out of a stock derbi, but was about 5ft 2 and weighed 7 stone.

I know some one on a derbi GPR50 who thinks he can do 80mph and all he has is a metrakit exhaust, he's been clocked on a long straight by some one on a vfr400 and he was only doing 60-65mph but the derbi boy wouldn't have none of it Rolling Eyes.

a derestricted gpr will hit about 50 to 55mph, with a tuned pipe, they hit around 65mph ish.
remember that the clocks are only accurate until about 35mph then they start to go wrong Razz
