Yep thats not the stig at all.

I think it is the stig. The reason the suit and helmet are "wrong" is because that video's a few years old. ThHey still have the Suzuki as the reasonably priced car and when they had they car the Stig wore a different helmet and suit.

Well there was a pic going around of the stig from a motor show. The flash lit up his face inside his dark/iridium visor and there was talk of it being david retard (coulthard or however you spell it).

Not sure how true it is, or if it was just a 'replacement' stig just for the event so his real identity wasn't revealed.

I dont think there is only one Stig, it could be different people just wearing the white kit and helmet every time they drive the car making it look as if its the same person every time.

It could be a British Touring Car driver as they always use them when they do challenges like the bus race and football with the cars.

Everyone should know there are about 10 different stigs, it's all based on who is available, the more eagle eyed watchers of top gear will notice difference in driving styles etc
Ben collins is the one they use the most though.

The first stig (who got killed on the aircraft carrier) was Perry McCarthy who shot his mouth off in his autobiography so that's why they got rid of him, it has been suggested (and seems likely to me) that it isn't "one" stig anymore and that they change it each week for different racing drivers so to stop them claiming to be the Stig.

i would have thought that for the test of each car around the circuit, they would use the same driver, as otherwise comparisons between cars using lap times would be meaningless unless all the drivers had exactly the same ability
