Its now the time of year i need me some new rubber and not the exciting kind Wink

Local garage has offered Metzeler SportTek M1 £175 fitted for the pair

Now Before you genius like folk bombard me with Hilaritys about them being shite, I am on 33bhp ,I Dont try to scrape my elbows round every single corner and roundabout i come to.
Any honest and helpful opinions welcome

Also What do i have to be careful of when scrubbing in new tyres.

As always Thank you :Bows: Thumbs Up

Metzler are owned by Pirelli.

Although not the same tyre, they are of good quality and production will inevitably share a lot of technology with Pirelli itself.

For that money it seems good - given the hassle-free turn up and walk out service.

Give'em a go!

Right well im having the tyres fitted today, Now how long is the scrubbing in period roughly does it depend how hard you ride ??

Also iv seen some excellant reviews for the tyres but 2 people on here said the life aint good, I think 1 guy said his lasted a month on his R1 and another guy said they lasted 650 miles Neutral

I have a set of these on my R1 at the moment, they do have great grip etc, but they do not last long. I have done 2800 miles on them so far and the rear needs changing.
