Does anyone use amazon often? If so, i ordered somthing the other day for the first time and it said if you subsribe to a free 30-day trial to 'amazon prime' then delivery is free.
So, i subscribed to the free trial, got my free delivery and thought nothing more of it, but now ive had an email saying that payment was declined for £47 for amazon prime.
Have they got any right trying to take money on a 30-day trial? And if anyone knows, how do i cancel my subscription with them or even my amazon account if need be..

Yep they have every right to, the same happens with that experian credit report free trial thingy.
The terms and conditions/small print would of said that you must cancel before the trial period ends. Also as you have gone into your first month of the 'contract' or whatever, you will be obliged to pay 1 months fee.
If you order A LOT from amazon then it is worth it, but i just tend to go for free express delivery, it generally only takes around 3/4 days, if i am in a rush i will select 1-2 day delivery which is only a couple of quid.
Saying that, i must be play.com's best customer now ____________________ It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt, then it's bloody hilarious!!! |

Thanks I only ordered the items a few days ago though, so i havent even ended the trail yet and they are already trying to take the money..
I assumed that i would finish the trial, they would inform me the trial has ended and ask me for either payment or cancellation? Either way i want to cancel it now as i only pressed yes to get free 1-day delivery once
