hahahaha

nice guess.
what are CBRs called in other parts of the world?
and yes i'm from illinois, the midwest-- US of A.

south africa huh?
i'm guessing threads pop up about "where are you from" fairly often huh? but most people list cities while i'd list a country from another continent Sad

glad to be here guys and girls

They are still CBR's, we tend to only know them as the CBR600F or RR over here and a new model by it's registration plate (license plate for our American viewers). Our registration plate displays the year of, err, well registration.

I've noticed on the US sites that you seem to mention the model type such as F4i, etc. They probably have the same designation over here really, but Honda only lists the new bike as the CBR600F.

Perhaps it's because we sort of go "oooh that looks new, oh yes it's an 04 reg". Simple people see! Wink

or the year it was registered?

The honda nsr is a 2 stroke 125 made by honda. These forums started out as an nsr forum (more than 2 years ago) which is why there are so manym people interested in the bike.

It's the year it was registered. Generally the year of the bike, but not always.

Instead of F3, F4 etc our have been known by letters, which correspond to the year of that model, but you have to just know what they mean. Eg. mine's an FY - that translates as a year 2000 bike, and equates to the US F4 model. The year before was the FX which was exactly the same apart from the paintjob. The FV was an F3...

But now they've run out of alphabet and started doing something else. Rolling Eyes
