Right im wondering, is it just me who are completely unhappy with orange mobile.

Im currently on a 18 month contract, Dolphin 35 which is £40 a month including insurance.

Now basically, i just can not work out where they are getting their pricing from.

Take this months bill £76, now i've sent 760 text messages, ive used 153 mins and i use the internet on it for about roughly 10 mins a week or less.

Anyone else had problems with them, as im sick of having high bills.

My past bills have been

£76
£52
£40
£95
£56.

Now i could've sworn i had 500 mins and unlimited texts!!!!

first, an 18 month contract is gay, they have control of you for 1 1/2 years, make sure everything is 100% clear before signing up for one of these again.

Best thing to do is go to an orange shop and speak to a manager, not some teenage front of house staff person. Ask them to explain exactly what is going on and why you are being charged so much.

Don't bother calling or you will end up in Bangladesh or Mumbai talking to someone who has no idea what they are on about and is worrying about what falvour his curry will be that night and not about your problem.

These companies make 'mistakes'* all the time with billing - they overcharge and expect the customer not to make a query. I was with O2 before Orange and literally every month I would be being overcharged by on average £5-10 (sometimes it was £30-40!) but since I had itemised billing available on the web I just sent a query to them and it got refunded. That said, I haven't had such problems with Orange (been with them about 4years now), but I'd imagine they'd be the same. If you phone them asking to have your bill explained then confirm what contract you are on chances are you will get your money back.

Having said that, with some contracts (esp the ones which offer pretty high numbers of free minutes etc.) you'll get totally raped if you go over them, so that's always worth checking too.

Cheers, Stu

*Read; intentional over-charging to make them more cash

It's your internet browsing probably, it's quite expensive if you don't have a data bundle.

I'm on Orange Dolphin 30, unlimited texts and 400 mins and I never go over. I just don't use internet on my mobile.

I had a dolphin sim at the start of the year and the reason I left was that my bills where to high despite having all them free minutes. I cant remember how many mins I had but whatever it was it wasnt what I thought so binned the sim.
