Always thought the quieter roads on Christmas day would be a perfect time for a blast. I also like the idea of disturbing the 'peace and goodwill' with a bike at full chat.

I won't have my bike with me where I am, but If I did I reckon I'd be out there. For about 10 minutes, then I'd be come back because it was cold

Unless of course it's snowing. In which case, you stick £1 bet on it being a white christmas beforehand, then you can't lose Smile

Who else has done this. What's it like?

If it's dry I will. It's usually good because the roads are dead. Cool

Yep, as above, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and new years Day plus any major England Footy matches are Ideal times to go for a hoon as everyone is inside.

Oh yeah, forgot to say: try not to die if you do go out.

That would make a really traumatic phone call for your gran when she rings up to see if you liked the sweater with the really detailed illustraion of an otter on it.

I will probably be out on the bike Christmas Day. My daughter is going out for lunch, leaving me with a day of peace. I will take my little camping stove, a bottle of water, some tea bags & a couple of butties and go for some random ride for the entire day. At least I won't get disturbed by the weirdos I usually seem to attract Laughing

Talking about a ride out not up and down the street or around the estate.

On christmas day i will be knee deep in mud and cow shit on the xr. All the better if it's all frozen over.

You can keep your christmas dinners and booze, i've got my bike.

I will be out new Year's Day as well. I don't drink, so won't be hung over at all over the holiday period.

Hadn't even considered it, but now you mention it, a solitary barbecue in the MFN sounds like a great way to spend the day.
