Hi guys and gals,

I was just wondering if anybody has any thoughts on this bike, is it any good? I'm looking at that old model mainly because I can get a pretty sweet deal.

Thanks in advance for any comments.

Well shagged or not, it only need to be a runner on the farm (I live in South Africa), so lucky me, no worries about MoT or anything along those lines. Very Happy

i hear the newer ones say after 2002 or what ever are meant to be heavily restricted but i dont think i have ever seen one with out the restrict because they all sound dead to me lol, myself if i was going to get a dtr 125 lc i would get the one my dad had when i was a kid which is probs near the year you are lookin at because it will have been around 94/95' when i had my pw50 and the dtr was old then lol

They may sound dead, but I heard they are actually great fun in the bush.

Anyway, got back from the bank about 30 minutes ago and had to recover for a while (again just over 40degC today, africa aint for sissies lol)
Does anybody know what rear sprocket it's supposed to have standard?

Oh, I just HAVE to mention what a cool forum this is, thanks for the quick replies guys, I'll try to take some pics so you all can share in my fun Mr. Green
