I was going to get one cause they have a great retro look with that skinny back tyre, 2 stroke as well. can take them off road which is sometimes a good idea but I was put off at the last minute when someone who had one said they are very unreliable and hard to start, be interesting to hear your review on them.

I like this site already!! Someone else with pictures of Jawas.It has always been the norm to slag Jawas mzs and czs off. to which my simple reply, after nearly 30 years on them, is Bollocks. Like any bike a little regular maintenance keeps them going for years. theyre utter simplicity makes repairs when they become neccasery an absolute doddle. As long as you dont have amodel with a restriction in the air intake, they are also far to fast for a drum front brake. careless use of throttle resulting in the front wheel leaving the floor. So, buy one try one , if you want some very inexpensive fast fun on two wheels.

I personally am not a motorcycle snob, C90 or Vmax both motorcycles to me.
If I have the cash when one comes up I will get it, I like simple technology when it comes to motorcycles and thats one of its attractions tho there may be folk on here whos gonna hate them, everyone to there own I suppose, good luck

Stinkwheel is the resident eastern european 2 stroke fan here, owns a jawa 350 aswell.


the kickstart/foot clutch is cool as penguins piss, and its defeningly loud minus the baffles.

i would love one of the jawas(not the chopper one mind), and i think one is going to be my next purchase after riding an mz ts250/1 for 6 months
