EDIT: Maybe not. At 300km/h it would be going at 3.32 metres per frame.

Ah, this old one. Very Happy

The reason you don't actually see him is because he actually goes along the road behind them (running the same direction as their car is facing). If you pause at 0.03 seconds then you can see the junction that he passes on the left, the coppers are along this road.
