Hi all, I have a problem with an oil pipe that connects the bottom end to top end. One end is leaking oil, can I do a temporary fix until I get a new one? If so how, does anyone have one in stock....I have to wait 2 weeks for kwak parts to deliver?
Cheers

Hi

Check it really is the pipe. Not sure on the ZXR, but often then connect with an O ring to seal the joint. That O ring could also have split.

Also on my 1200 Bandit I spent ages checking an oil pipe for a leak which turned out to be on the rocker cover gasket, but immediatly behind the pipe.

All the best

Keith

No its definately the pipe....I have changed the 0 rings. It seems to do it when the engine is warm and the oil is thin and just leaks through a bit at a time. I think I may try and press the metal seal a bit more and see if I can seal it that way?
