great bodge job

Whilst overhauling the gsxr 400 i noticed a few of the fairing lugs where broken you know the bit that always breaks where it fit's into the rubber gromet,

So in a moment of genius thinking i pulled the last few bits of the lug off with plier's got out the mouse sander and sanded it flat which left a cross where the lug once was drilled a small hole using the middle of the cross as a guide to get it spot on then got a rawl plug normally used to hold screws in concrete walls popped it in the rubber gromet put the fairing panel in place took a screw a flat backed one not the counter sunk type as that would have proberbly cracked the pannel screwed it up job dont

cost a few pence,
some might say it looks ugly with a screw head on your faring pannels but me im not bothered

anyone else got any super cheap bodge jobs they would care to share
