Yeh i know the feeling, but if you don't have a side stand its a pain, if you don't have a center stand its even more of a pain, if your changeing oil, chains, wheels e.t.c.

Putting the bike on the center stand is not as bad as it seems (250kg bike) put the stand down with your foot so its touching the floor, hold the bike on any available piece of metal DIRECTLY above the stand (under the seat, whatever) then push down and pull up a little, gets easier honest, its all in the technique!

Hi,

As Zero says, it does get easier - all down to technique!!!

The centre stand is great for servicing - especially oiling a chain as it allows the rear wheel to spin. Also makes all the oil\coolant levels level out so you can get a more acurate reading.

TIP: when you use your foot to press down the centre stand, make sure that the bike is level i.e. that both the stand pegs are touching the ground, otherwise you'll be trying to lift the bike on one peg, which you'll find is pretty near impossible!!! (and a chance you'll drop it Rolling Eyes ).

Practise - you'll use the centre stand more once you get the hang of it, trust me.

Center stands can be a pain in the arse mate. You may find that the more pressure you put on the stand, the less you have to use to guide the bike upwards onto it.

It's a lot simpler than it sounds, you'll get the hang of it. Thumbs Up Smile
