That system looks so good! and the frame is nice and shiny I guess you have spent this weekend finishing it off.
All you need now is to fit the big bore on it, derestrict the first gears, get an extended swing arm and you will have your self a full out drag machine.
What times were you getting at snetterton? |

Hi
Spent some time today sorting it out. Biggest hassle was getting the carbs off and on again. Not too keen on the routing of the oil pipes to the oil cooler. They are basically touching the exhaust and I am dubious as to whether they will take the heat.
At Elvington I think my best was about 11.79 @ 119mph. Given that was with the lock carrier on, the mirrors still in place, centre stand fitted (no provision on the Akrapovic for a centre stand) and me without any real practice I should be able to improve on that.
Certainly not extending the swinging arm, as that is too obvious.
All the best

Hi
Other thing to sort is the lock stops. The larger oil cooler is hitting the forks on full lock. I need to restrict the lock slightly (doubt it is MOT legal as it is). Any ideas on how to do this? I have seen bolt on things to reduce the lock in the past, but not sure whether I can do this on the Bandit without restricting the lock so much that I cannot use the ignition lock.
All the best

How come you got that time and speed yet Mr C on his 1200 Ninja was only a second quicker but 72mph quicker, at 10.52 and 191 point something. How does that work? ____________________ Too skint to buy a bike |

His top speed for the day was 191mph and that was over the flyer not just the 1/4 mile.
As far as the MOT goes it will pass as long as noting catches or rubs when you turn the bars.
It looks good mate nice and standard looking. ____________________ 20:02:36 Jammy-R6: any holes a goal
