Having now read it, it's actually quite interesting.

Once again, it shows how the 16-19yo are most dangerous, but i was surprised how close to them my age group (25-29) was.

As we all know, speeding barely 'caused' any accidents - only 5% (or 12% if you include too fast for conditions) vs not looking properly which caused 15% - maybe we should get junction cameras that fine people for not looking both ways for long enough. Either that or carry on with the speeding cash cow.

I also liked the miles per week traveled stats... assuming vehicle choice does not affect distribution of friends then clearly us motorcyclists are a grumpy bunch with only half as many friends as we're only traveling half the distance each week to see them.

They look, but don't see! Because their brain is not tuned-in to
look for motorcyles. A set minimum period to look would'n't
mean they'd actually look, I suspect.

I was surprised to see how low the deaths caused by speeding were, and really surprised at how many deaths per mile were bikers, basically all of them :/.

Not that close. 2007 figures figures were 724 for the 25~29 age group, against 1150 for the 16~19 age group (and there is an extra year for the 25~29 group).

All the best

But it does include a list of the top 10 models sold in 2007, which I
guess is what Bikedemon99 was referring to.
