here's one you probably heard. i've been writing short stories for years and after a couple of years deliberation i've decided to have a crack at turning some of them into short films. however, since all i have is outlined ideas, no filming experience or even equipment i'm stuck to go farther than the stories in my head. so, is there anyone who would like to help or who knows anything about converting an idea to a film? (there maybe a few quid in it too hopefully! ) not too sure if this will work but it can't hurt to try. the reason i'm asking here is because my current one is a biker story so since there's a few of you who are bikers it's a good start. the current work is only in the preliminary stages, not more than a few chapters, so it won't be anytime soon. but i thought i'll see where it gets me in advance and see what offers there are. looked online but all i find is request for other peoples ideas to be written, not a search for new individual work. so i'm open to suggestions, help and advice from anyone who can give constructive assistance. cheers for it all. ____________________ previous: '02 honda nsr, '89 kawasaki zxr 750 h1

You could try shooting people
I've not been there for a while: I used to get their newsletters before it went paying-members, so dunno if a noob can look around a bit for free ... but its an interesting place, and a useful tool - it has many levels of film-making people there, from actors, extras, directors, sound peeps, all sorts, right down to first year film students ... bound to find a scriptwriter or so amongst them. ____________________ Not nearly as interesting in real life. |

I may well be ale to help you as i've worked in film and TV for around 7 years. heres a link to my ukscreen page www.ukscreen.com/crew/4mat
I must say though making good films is all about being a part of a crew of highly trained specialists. This isn't easy or cheap but if you know the right people anything is possible. |

For script writing you'll be wanting www.finaldraft.com
It puts everything into the correct format for you so if you do decide to submit it to someone then you don't look like a massive bell end, just a little one. |

I'd be looking at something like: https://celtx.com
| Quote: | Unlike scriptwriting software, you can use Celtx for the entire pre-production process - write scripts, storyboard scenes and sequences, develop characters, breakdown & tag elements, schedule production, and prepare detailed and informative production reports for cast and crew. |
