If I stay local I should be alright but think I might get my pants pulled down if I go outside Medway. Laughing

I'd say that's pushing it a little.. but then what sort of damage could you do on a pitbike that you could then run away from?

Exhaust sounds alot better too. Its 28mm internal throughout. It pops and bangs like a good un.

Got the Mono Swing arm fitted now too, It is 3" longer than the standard A-arm swinger. Took alot of work getting a new top mount made up for it. Still need to MIG weld it on because its currently bolted to the original top mount, and bolted to the frame its self.

Its fixed up with M10 stainless bolts, so I dont have any doubts in it, But I'd just rather it was welded too for safe measure.

It handles so so good now, Just the power of the 125 engine is letting it down a little. I am looking into buying a (wait for it), *Takes deep Breath*... A LIFAN engine.

BUT. Lifan do make the better pit bike engine out of the engines available for daily road use.

Looking at a 150 engine, With an All up racing gearbox, High Lift cam, Outer Rotor Kit, 26mm Mikuni Carb and my current 28mm exhaust. 20bhp is possible with a bit of setting up. Cool

When you get the lifan engine I will be coming down and having a go (and borrowing your kit so that I don't get pulled Razz)

You absolute bastard though. Seeing your pit bike makes me want one even more! But I'll get the Hornet on the road first Razz

They are good fun. I can no longer filter all the way to work because of the 32" renthal bars. Laughing

The only place I cant safely filter is on Ash tree lane, Its hard enough to filter up there on a Moped.

BUT to the left is a field. So I simply take that route. NO traffic there.

Damn right! Cool Thumbs Up

Have to wait until the 150cc Engine is in though, at least then it will come up on power again.

I think I've spent too much on this bike now though. Confused

The idea was to save money. Laughing

It must owe me nearly £2k now (That obvs includes the bike its self).

I mean there's £100 worth of rear shock on there.
Laughing

Yea, And kinda shame I was doing tyres and brakes on the Patrol car.

2 of them did have a good butchers around my pit bike though. One of them even went "Is that road legal?"

Ha, Your the police officer, you tell me. Laughing

Then he walked round the back, and went "That plates a bit small". And his colleague came round and went "What plate?"

Then bent over, looked up under the rear fender and was like
"Hah, Yes, and its mounted a bit funny too".

The tall copper in the picture is one of my Dads mates though, The other 2 were still being tutored, So didn't really have a clue.

The tall geezer knew me, and my bike, so didn't say anything. He was more interested how my Dad's "4 week holiday" is.

lol, He's managed to get a month off over Xmas. Lucky bastard.
