Right, the time has come to change the plugs on my FZR.
Just posting to ask if anyone knows the method for doing so and the tools I'll need? Had problems trying to get the fuel tank off last time I tried, It's sort of hooked around the frame.
Will I need any special sockets to remove the plugs? The bike is my only form of transport so I'll need to ride it to Halfrauds to get the parts first.. don't wanna be stuck with the wrong tools and half a bike.

Thanks.

PS: I don't have the service manual for my bike, Haynes never made one. (1986 FZR400 Genesis)

If it's the same as the FZR600 there is no need to take the fuel tank off. Just unscrew the radiator and let it hang down on the front mud guard (I tape the mud guard to ensure the radiator doesn't get scratched). The just used a 16mm spark plug remover. It was a fairly fiddle job just because of the lack of space, but straight forward.
