The best bit of Oulton Park?

Are you referring to the best corner/straight, or what?

Perhaps if you were more specific we would be able to help mate.

well which ever just wondered what people consider the best place to be .

Back in south africa at Kylami West Bank cnr was a great spot in my opinion.the back cnrs at the end of the straight at Snetterton is a good spot too.

So im open to suggestions having not been to oulton, if you think the straight is the best bit for whatever reason then thats cool.

Was at Oulton today, during the first British Superbike warm up 3 bikes were involved in a smash that caused one to erupt into a fireball! Shocked - saw the black smoke from Knickerbrook (happened somewhere around Lodge).. anyone see it ? was everyone ok?

Unfortunately we were at dentons at the time Sad saw a few 125's decide they could go around the corners on their sides and on gravel. Not one of them continued in the race though Wink

I missed the big flaming crash, was down by foulstons at the time and never noticed the smoke either. Saw a couple of 125's go down with Jimbo but really was quite sad that I missed the 5/6 125 riders go down all at the same time, not sure where abouts that happened, I think it was somewhere near the start/finish line. The best crash I saw had to be in the super stock race, some guy did something totally wrong on his entry into foulstons and entered it being pushed down the track by his bike inches away from the guy in front, he did limp away but didn't seem too bad.

Just incase you were wondering I didn't just go for the crashs, was an excellent pass reynolds made on the last lap of the first round on his entry into foultons. Also got to go into the Honda hospitality suite which was cool, free cold drinks, as in several fridges full of cans of pop and several hot drinks machines, also got to hear from all the honda riders. Could've have had a pit tour but couldn't be bothered to walk all the way back over.
