I really dont get this at all right i bought this 2001 MKB Aerox R sat for nearly 2 years in dry garage after piston melted to spark plug i payed 50 euros for her i took her to the bike shop cut a long story short it needed variator ,belt, rollers ,and he had to split the engine replace the bearings and put a new cilinder in 50cc (only cost 350 € in total )anywho i got it home and fitted the clocks the speedo works but the fuel and temp gauge dont work at all they are like lcd but dont even light up and it wont start of the battery so i tryed the battery of my bike witch is fully charged and still nada not even a clicking noise so i checked the fuse but it was good and connected properley
I did ask the previous owner (good mate) and he said they did work untill he parked it in the garage

So whats wrong with it ? ? ?

Is it negitive or positive earth ???

Maybe not earthing out proprely..

Best line of attack.
Look at the wiring and see if any connections have been missed, when they have had the bike in bits.
Might even be worth asking the garage if it was all OK when it left them.....
Then get a multimeter and start at one end and keep going till you find where the leccy stops flowing.

If it's an MBK, It'll be the nitro, if it's Yamaha, It'll be Aerox... They're both the same bike, EXACT same, Just different names.
And with having the 2003 (Analogue speedo) I cant really help, But if it's not lighting up, or anything, It sounds to me like the LCD display itself may be to blame... You can pick them up off ebay second hand quite cheap...

But as i put on the side stand to have a wizz at the side of the road and when i came back the clock lights were on but wernt displaying nout and as i rode off the went straight off whats up there ? ? ?
